The Walking Dead - A show where the dead come back to life

One of the most popular shows in the US today is a show called 'The Walking Dead'. It's about what would happen if a virus made the dead come back to life. It's a very cool show because it's scary, suspenseful, exciting and interesting. After the dead come back to life, if they bite you, you will likely die and become just like them. But the biggest problem isn't the dead, but the living people who they meet in this new world, many of whom have become very bad or cruel in order to survive.



The cities are empty of most people, and almost everyone is dead. After months, the walking dead people wander around the world, attacking and trying to eat anyone they can see or hear. The show is a little gross (disgusting) but it's really cool, and the story is very interesting.

When my wife started to watch this show, it was very difficult for her to follow some of the English. Some of the actors speak in a dialect of American English common to the southern states. But now she follows it pretty easily, the key is that she doesn't use subtitles in Chinese or English, she focuses on listening, even if she has to listen to something a few times. If she doesn't understand what someone says, I'll explain it to her. My suggestion would be for you to have English subtitles, if you don't understand something, turn on the subtitles and listen to it again. If you still don't understand, then turn on the Chinese subtitles just to understand something, then turn them back off again!

I heard about it but havent watched it yet...is it scaring or the scene is bloody and disgusting??

Yeah, absolutely it's bloody and disgusting, haha! That is what makes it so scary, it's very realistic. If you like horror, you will enjoy this show a lot, it's good to watch with someone else.
